Ok. So as many of you may know that i ahve chest problems, i thought i would share this with the world because, sometimes bad things can turn out to be good things. It started at the beginning of January and i was conditioning for track, and i felt a sudden pressure near my heart, i knew it wasn't normal. So to shorten things up a bit i had an EKG, Chest X-ray, Lung X-ray, and a CAT scan done within 3 weeks of each other. The doctors still don't know whats going on with me. He told me that i would never be up too 100% to play sports again, so i'm pdone for this year unless a miracle happens. Sports have a part of my life since i was 2, i picked up my first baseball bat when i was 2 and had my first picture taken when i was a baby in a baseball uniform. At first when i heard the news, i was very upset, and angry, at the same time. But over time i realized that hey, life isn't always about what you want, it's about what GOD wants, and making sure that you live your life for him. Sure, the emotional pain is still with me. Not a day goes by that i don't think about the problems i have, because it felt like everyday was a struggle for me. Now i am taking grasp of what i can control and running with the opportunities that GOD has given. GOD closes some doors and opens others, it's a matter of whether you accept the fact that he closed them or not. You can see the the door being shut, but you can be in denial too, which is what happened to me in the first 3 weeks. To some people this may seem like no big deal, and they may say "oh ok whatever", but this was the biggest turning point in my life. GOD had to physically pull me out of something to make me realize that i need him more than he needs me. So for those of you whoa re reading this, i just want to challenge you to 2 things, 1. if you haven't already accept christ into your life 2. Don't be blinded by everyday society that we don't see doors opening and closing on us, take advantage of every situation that GOD gives you.
